Refugees are mothers & fathers, friends & neighbors. They’re students, doctors, artists and engineers. They have families of their own, big hopes & dreams of their own, and futures filled with so much potential. In many cases, refugees have been victimized by violence, terror and persecution—and are in need of support, empathy, and an opportunity to find a better life in a new land.
But misunderstanding, often driven by fear of the unknown, has made it difficult for the remarkable true stories of millions of refugees to break through.
This World Refugee Day, you can help.
Let the world know who refugees are to you, your family, and to your community.
